Envirotech Tasty Thursday- Grilled Pineapple (yummy stuff)
1 fresh pineapple- peeled, cored and cut into 1-inch rings
1/4 teaspoon honey, local honey is the best:)
3 tablespoons melted butter
salt to taste
Place the pineapple in a large ziplock bag or plastic container, add the honey, butter and salt. Seal the bag or container and shake to coat evenly. Let this marinate for at least 30 minutes (overnight in the refrigerator is good). Once it marinates preheat your outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking. Grill the pineapple for 2 to 3 minutes per side on medium heat, once the grill marks appear you are done and ready to eat.
These are very juicy and delicious!!!
